Level
One story so far. Add level stacks a second floor on top; each level has its own walls and beams, and the lower floor shows faintly on the plan so you can line things up.
Draw walls
Tap the plan to place corners, or type a length and pick a direction. Tap the orange first corner (or Close shape) to finish. Once the outline is closed, Draw walls adds interior walls: tap where one starts, then where it ends.

Quick rectangle
Building
Walls that run across the joists count as bearing unless you say otherwise on the wall's card. Headers and beams are sized for that; the plan shows joist direction in the corner.
Existing plan
Have a drawing of the house? Upload plan (PDF or photo) up top. You'll then tap two points on a wall of known length so it comes out to scale, and trace the outline over it with Draw walls.
New opening
Pick Add door or Add window up top, then tap the wall. Doors go in at 6'-8" tall; windows 3' tall on a 3' sill. Change any of that on the opening's card after.
New beam
Roof
Gable roof over the top level, ridge along the long way (trusses span the joist direction). The materials list adds roof sheathing, shingles, underlayment, drip edge and ridge cap once a roof is on.
